H’arbor Vitae (meaning harbour of life, tree of life in Latin) offers a unique Canadiana eco island setting for groups focused on personal awareness, learning and spirituality. Easily accessible to amenities, towns and highways, yet still remote and wild, the island is a short 5 minute boat ride from the Petawawa harbour. This duality makes a venue that is both accessible and close to nature in its finest form.

The 17 acre island is located in Lac Allumette, a 3 kilometer wide lake on the mighty Ottawa River at the mouth of the Petawawa River in Ontario, Canada. Its mile of shoreline consists of pristine sand beaches and rocky/pebbled shore. The water is clear fed from Laurentian and Ottawa Valley waterways. Views of the Laurentian Highlands are a backdrop to this pristine setting.   more info
